 What we do??
We meet every tuesday at 7 pm in "El Cafe Teatro Siete " (see map), have a drink and a chat in Spanish and English for a few hours. We just change the language whenever we feel like it!
WE DON'T GIVE AN ENGLISH OR SPANISH COURSE.
We are not teachers. We only give you the opportunity to practice English or Spanish and to meet friendly people.
Besides, we do Barbecues on weekends, dinners, go out for a drink, play sport (badminton, basketball, voleyball...), do hiking, go to the beach and so on.
Do I need to Register to this exhange program??
You do not need to register to come to the Intercambio. It is FREE and you come whenever you want. You don't even need to send me a mail or phone call to confirm you are coming.
Who comes??
People from all over! Some are native English speakers from the UK or the United States, some native Spanish speakers from Canary Islands and South America, and there are others from Germany, France, Thailand, Belgium, the Netherlands... We're just an international group of people all having fun, trust me!
Why is it Free??
First, we are not teachers. Second, I was sick to have to pay to learn a language and to get no valuable results, so I decided to create this language exchange to improve both my English and Spanish (I am French). Why should we always pay everytime we decide to do something?! It was also a good way, for me and my wife, to meet new people in La Laguna.

Our last intercambio was really impressing, nice to see how fast the group is growing and that a circle try to exist.It was my 3rd time and it was great!!!!!!!!!!!! Best way to find interesting people... We went out with Jonathan (el venezolano) and Jefrey ( mezcla de una Inglesa y de un Canario) after the Intercambio to drink a beer and we had the idea that we could meet each other 2 times a week. What do u think???????

The last Tuesday was my first intercambio , and it was an incredible and very friendly experience .I think that everyone should try this once in life .There were people from nearly every continent ,America,Asia ,Europe and also people from the canary Islands. It is surprising to see how all relate with each other, a lot of jokes and fun.
